
Mrs. Sarazina Mumu did her bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and technology (BUET) and obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Development from Australian National University. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in environmental management related activities in the broad water sector. She started her career at Oxfam-GB and worked in flood recovery projects. Thereafter, she worked in the Centre for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS). She developed her expertise in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), feasibility studies of different projects related to water resource management, climate change, urban development etc. In her field of expertise, she is actively involved in designing solutions to address negative environmental impacts, data analysis related to demography, water quality etc., developing environmental and social management frameworks, developing waste management plans, conducting multi criteria analysis and preparing technical reports. She has also hands on experience in preparing Terms of Reference, technical Proposals of different development projects, managing and coordinating projects, arranging seminars, training workshops, conducting public consultations, engaging stakeholders as well as maintaining good communication and liaison with clients.
